Special Note: We define our “Client” as the parents or caregivers whose children receive services through our childcare and youth development programs.
Your Rights
As a parent or caregiver in our programs, you have the right to:
- Be informed of your rights and responsibilities.
- Be provided with sufficient information to make an informed choice about using our services.
- Fair and equitable treatment and the consistent enforcement of program rules.
- Be safe in our service environments.
- Written and oral communication in the languages of the major population groups we serve.
- The provision of, or arranging for, communication assistance if you have difficulty making your service needs known.
- Participate in all service decisions and receive service in a manner that is non-coercive and protects your right to self-determination.
- Request a review of your care.
- Refuse any service and be informed about the consequences of such refusal.
- Receive a schedule of any applicable fees and be informed about charges, payments, and the consequences of nonpayment prior to service delivery.
- Confidentiality and privacy regarding services rendered, unless a legal court order requests such information.
- Be informed on how to lodge complaints or grievances.
Your Responsibilities
To help us provide the best possible experience for every family, we ask that you:
- Participate in services specified in your plan and comply with program rules and regulations.
- Refrain from violent or destructive behavior.
- Honor the confidentiality of others during group activities.
- Provide relevant information as a provision for receiving services and participating in service decisions.
Our administrative office hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
