STEM Fun at Unleashing Potential

Unleashing Potential’s Experience STEM program is made possible due to the generous support of Union Pacific Foundation, Maritz, Blues for Kids and Monsanto Fund. This program empowers kindergarten through fifth grade youth attending schools in the St. Louis, Ferguson-Florissant and University City School Districts. Children participating in Unleashing Potential’s after school and summer enrichment programs experience STEM activities as well as explore STEM-related careers. Hands-on activities (Quirkles science experiments, LEGO STEM robotics, and Bloxels coding), multiple week exposures (cooking matters, chess instruction), and related field trips (for summer participants) spark interest, enjoyment and knowledge of key STEM concepts for youth whose families could not otherwise afford these experiences and increase their likelihood of entering STEM-related fields.
